but then about a year ago i made a STUPID decision and dyed it black!! not that theres anything wrong with black it just didn't suit me and i knew it would be a nightmare to remove as it was permanent (infact all my colours were permanent, i soooo wish i had used semi's but silly me)
I didn't want to bleach as i know that can do some amount of damage to your hair. so here's what i done....
I bought Scott Cornwall’s colour B4. this come in two different strengths (regular £9.99 and extra strength£11.99) the regular one would be good if you had only dyed your hair once or maybe 2 at the most but since i had ALOT of colour build up i got extra strength.
this is the extra strength one (silver), the regular is in a pink box.
What it does: Colour B4 shrinks the artificial dye molecules in the hair, enabling you to simply wash them away. What’s more Colour B4 does not touch your natural hair pigment so you are left with the colour which lay beneath your artificial shade. Colour B4 takes you back to your lightest shade. It will return your hair to its natural colour if the artificial hair colour applied is darker than your natural level.
I had to go through about 4 of these before i got it as light as i wanted but my hair had a brassy tinge to it so i the got...
John Frieda Toning shampoo
This took most of the brassiness away... enough to put another hair dye over it without it looking silly. i used nice'n'easy and used the toning shampoo every day until it was empty.
After all this, my hair was all damaged and frizzy at the ends so i had to get a good conditioner. I decided to buy aussie's 3 minute miracle-take the heat. This worked wonders on my frazzled hair and not only did it sort out my hair it protected it from heat as well which was the last thing my hair needed, even more burnt
I love my new hair colour now and NEVER again will i make the mistake of dying it black lol. and i also stick with semi-permanents now as they are less damaging to your hair :)
